In order to perfectly prepare you for your business stay in Cologne, we offer different helpful forms.
The city of Cologne raises a culture tax of 5% of the accommodation price. To be exempt from this tax, you should bring the completed form for examption from the culture tax if you are staying in Cologne for business reasons. This form has to be provided or filled out seperately by the guest for each stay.
However, in addition to the form, an employer statement or an assumption of costs by the employer is necessary, which states that the stay is necesssary for work-related mandatory reasons. The exemption can only take place when everything is filled out completely. Unfortunately issuing the invoice to a company address is not sufficient.
